In Genesis 2:21, the Bible tells us how God took out of Adam, one of his ribs to create the woman. And I thought, why the rib and not the hip or another part of the body? Upon investigation, I was able to find that the ribs have the function of protecting the chest cavity. God formed us from that part of the body because he knew it was necessary to make it from something so strong.
Why? Because we need strength for the moment of childbirth, to be strong to be the ideal help, strong to help guide our children, strong because some or many have to go out to work and also take care of their home, and not because they want to be the head of the house, but because some with their irresponsibility, have left them alone with everything on her shoulders. That is why I concluded why God formed us from the rib.
God knows that the woman must be protective of her family (with limits, not overprotective), she was taken from the side of the man so that he always takes her by his side, not forward or backward, but next to him, respecting her, loving her as a fragile glass, as described in the bible.
It is written in Proverbs 31:29 (ESV): “Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all”. Because the woman who fears Jehovah is different; we were created from something that does not break easily, we are wise, understanding, and full of the grace of God, to help other women to transform their lives, in the name of Jesus Christ. That is the purpose of the Lion Church Women’s Ministry, to teach others the value they have in Christ Jesus.
We are fragile, but not weak, we are full of the power of the Holy Spirit.
